Target audience

Redesigning a current alternative museum in London to attract new visitors and provide a more engaging experience for its audience through a piece of physical experiential design.
Transforming the Vault at the Hard Rock Cafe into a special anniversary exhibition of The Beatles, celebrating their huge success and influence on the music industry during the 60s. I particularly focused on their experimental phase, including the Yellow Submarine animation, Magical Mystery Tour bus and Sgt.Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
Music lovers who have a passion for British rock music. This is particularly aimed at people aged 18-60 years old.

Visitors enter the exhibition space via the stairs leading from the Rock Shop. The 'Psychedelic Mania' begins down the staircase where visitors are immediately immersed into a kaleidoscopic space.

Visitors are guided around the hallway through pointing hands situated on the floor. This room exhibits the illustrations from the Yellow Submarine animation and a recreation of the Magical Mystery Tour bus. Alongside this, there is a large screen installation at the back of the hallway and video screens that replace the windows of the bus.

After viewing the hallway, Visitors enter the main vault room containing a recreation of the Sgt. Pepper's album cover in the form of a piece of stage design. Artefacts are displayed within glass cabinets along with gold plaques containing information.
